They didn’t improvise here, but look at the tears in her eyes here. I mean, this is—nobody came here with menthol crystals and blew those in her eyes, she’s listening to the actor and he’s listening to her. This is a real good example of two actors who are IN the scene together. And the reason they’re IN the scene is because they’re listening to each other, they’re not just listening to their cues to say their lines, they’re literally listening to what the other person is saying. And that’s why Gillian got so emotional there, because she was totally in the scene. This is when acting is not acting, you know, it’s the real deal. It’s the real thing.
